Orbitales was born in 2004 as a way of capturing the musical trends of Maximus, Javi Jason and Curtis, initially and due to the different influences of its members the band achieved a hybrid of Electro, Postpunk, Metal and Gothic style as it is reflected in the first studio album recorded in 2011 called “orbitales”. By 2009 Curtis left the band and orbitales became a duo, from here the band began to experiment with industrial subgenres like Dark Electro and industrial Electro, compositions now discussed issues like urban and social protest, as well as touching on topics such as marginality, drugs and decay of the human being, and all this comes to light Nuclear Dream EP in 2012.
By early this year Javier announced his departure, and the new keyboardist Jonas joined the band giving an even more radical sound combining elements of Electro punk industrial, the same year the band have the honor of opening the Hocico’s show in Buenos Aires and recorder another EP called dance of the Dead, in anticipation of its future album which will be released in 2015 “Aborigen fantasmagorico”.
Orbitales main concerns are the destructive feeling of man, the end of civilization as we know it today, disbelieves the human feeling of love and fervently believes that man is evil in the universe, in its lyrics tries to reflect the anguish of emptiness, vice and violence in all its senses.
